I love this recipe as a quick, nearly no prep, meal. Its greet on a weekday to throw in the crock pot in the morning before work, or at night before bed. Its also perfect for feeding a crowd!
INGREDIENTS
- 2-3lb pork shoulder
- 1 onion, diced
- 4-5 garlic cloves, smashed
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 1 tsp oregano
- 2 tsp salt
- juice of 1 lime
INSTRUCTIONS
- sear meat on all sides (optional but helps lock flavors in)
- add remaining ingredients to crock pot
- stir, cover, and let look for 6-8hrs on low
